Business Young Entrepreneurship project in Cosenza, Italy

The BYE (Business Young Entrepreneurship) is a bilateral youth exchange between one group from Goodwill Association (Italy) and Romanian Youth Movement for Democracy (Romania). The project activities had taken place at the “Talent Garden” (TAG), a coworking location in Rende (Cosenza) from 18 to 24 January 2016. The exchange involved 30 young people (15 for each group) and 4 group leaders. The language used was English.

The project aimed at encouraging young people from 20 to 30 years old in order to facilitate the business culture and decrease, in a long-term perspective, the unemployment. Moreover, to stimulate the knowledge about the professional opportunities in Europe.

erasmus-plus-bacauThe program of activities was a business game in which the participants were divided into teams. All the activities were based on the development of a business idea that was enforced through practical sessions, training suggestions and consultations by the group leaders, TAG cofounders and start uppers.

In addition to the business game, there were role-playing games about the leadership development and team building. Also, the training activities on gender entrepreneurship and professional mobility opportunities from the European Union.

At the end of the exchange, all the participants achieved a good „Entrepreneurial Intent”, in other words, the fundamental inclination that directs a young toward the choice to start up an own company.
